Condolences

Condolence From: Pat Gleason
Condolence: I only just learned of Bob's passing and feel so sad. I had moved out of the area in 2016 but I remember Bob on my visits to Dr Frank's and met him through Dr Willie and his association with Wegmans. He was so knowledgeable about wine and had some great stories. My condolences are a bit late, but heartfelt.

Condolence: I only just learned of Bob's passing the other day! I happened to reach out to Tom Rotolo and asked about Bob only to learn this sad news. As all of you who knew Bob already know, what a great and amazing guy he was. HIs personality shined above the rest, happy, funny and full of life! I remember hearing how he jumped out of box at a sales meeting as a reindeer and was always so creative and out going you couldn't help but love Bob! He nicknamed me "Ringo" as he was trying to get me and my sister back stage to meet him when he was at the Finger Lakes with his all star band. He was always generous with wine when I saw him at the NY Wine Festival in Watkins Glen. All I can say is he did what all of us should do - leave a life well lived and well loved by all. We may not remember the exact words of what someone said but we do remember how someone made us feel and Bob was sunshine on a cloudy day. May heaven be smiling with Bob and I hope to see him there someday. Thank you Bob for being a shining example for all of us and our life has been made better because of you. Many blessings to you and all who love you still - God bless you!!

Condolence From: Paul Carbonaro
Condolence: Dear Rob, Jen, Debbie, and family, All of us in the Carbonaro family have such warm memories of Bob that it is hard to imagine his passing. He was larger than life in some ways but always such a gentleman and a great friend. The ceremony at St. Peter and Paul's was a beautiful tribute to Bob with so many friends and family there to say farewell. We wish him eternal rest and will keep all of you and certainly Bob in our thoughts and prayers. Paul, Kathy and the Carbonaro family

Condolence: Deep peace to Bob's family and friends. He was such a warm and generous man. In time, your memories of his smile and laugh will ease some of the pain, but it can't be quite the same as having him near. I know you cherish the time you had, and don't forget that there are many fans of "Cowboy Bob" out here in the world who remember also.

Condolence From: Michael Warren Thomas
Condolence: Bob was a giant in personality and in his impact on the growth of the Finger Lakes wine region. Winemakers need salespeople and Bob was one of the hardest working people behind the scenes. He was a key mentor to me over the past 20 years, always ready to help people around him. Thank you, Bob - your advice and counsel have been invaluable. Heart-felt condolences to the Wojnar family.

Condolence: My heart goes out to Rob, Jen, Deb, grand children and the so many friends Bob had over the course of many years. To know him truly was to love him. He was a gentle giant who had a weak heart, but it was truly made of gold, overflowing with kindness, loyalty and generosity to all of those he loved. I will miss "Wojahoe" so very much and my heart will be broken forever. Somehow I find satisfaction knowing that we chose each other to be the closest of friends, but thought we would be able to share many more moments together as we grew old together. I guess it wasn't meant to be. RIP my dear friend. Love, your little brother, Beaner.
