Obituary for Anastasia Stanley (Rodak)

Anastasia “ Nellie” Marko Stanley, 90, of Auburn died Saturday, March 11, 2017. Nellie was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late Michael and Suzanna Kuzma Marko. She was a communicant of St. Nicholas Orthodox Church, and was an active member of the parish. She retired from the Cayuga County Department of Social Services
She is survived by her son Alfred Stanley Jr. of High Point, NC, three grandchildren Frederick, Sara and Phyllis Stanley, her brother Walter (Jennie) Marko of Fairmount, and several nieces and nephews.
She was predeceased by her husband Alfred “Gale” Stanley in 1998, her son William Stanley in 2014, sisters Anna Marchisin, Helen Pawlack, Mary Panek and Margaret Rodak, and brothers Michael and William Marko.
Funeral services for Mrs. Stanley are at 9 A.M. Thursday from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 A.M. in St. Nicholas Orthodox Church. Burial will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
