Donna Paul Sidor, 77, of Marcellus passed away Tuesday April 11, 2017 due to her third and final battle with cancer.
She was born May 9, 1939, to the late Donald and Helen Klein Paul. Donna was a Graduate of Marcellus Senior High School and achieved a master’s degree in early childhood education from Geneseo College. A long time educator and advocate for the elderly in her final years, Donna was a school teacher, a census taker, a saleswoman for a national magazine and a discerning mother who gave everything to her children.
She is survived by three children, Rand MacLane Pilot, Alison Kimberly Pilot-MacLane and Jeremy Don Pilot and brother Charles Edwin Paul of Marcellus as well as several cousins. She was survived also by many grandchildren, Cassidy James Chynoweth, Mikayla “Hunter” Mae Zimmer, Mackenzie “Mason” Killian Pilot, Ashley Morgan Pilot, Zephaniah Joseph Pilot, and Meghan.
Services will be 11 a.m. Saturday April 15 at St. John’s Episcopal Church. Calling hours will be from 9-11 a.m. at the church, 15 Orange Street Marcellus NY prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers donations in her name are greatly appreciated and may go to the Marcellus Volunteer Fire Department or St. John’s Episcopal Church.
