Obituary for Steven G. Young

Steven G. Young, 60, of Auburn, died Sunday, June 25, 2017, at St. Joseph’s Hospital in Syracuse.
Steve was a native of Gouverneur, NY, the son of the late Glenn and Sandra Jones Young. He has resided in the Auburn area for more than 40 years. He was a retired employee of McQuay. He enjoyed riding his motorcycle, and going to the movies.
He is survived by his wife Mary Frances “Fran” Guzalak Young, his children Tanya (Stephen) Brown, Michael (Jessica) Parks, Steven (Jennifer) Young and Sandra (Sean) Sharples, his brother William Young, and sisters Vicki (David) Benjamin and Kathy (Chuck) Weir. Also surviving are three grandsons Brandon, Judah and Jonah, a great granddaughters Anabelle and Braelynn, his sisters-in- laws, Barbara (Joseph) Rielly Sr., Melanie Crim, his brother-in-law Mark Guzalak, nieces, nephews, special nieces and nephews and cousins, and many friends especially David Stoelzel.
Friends are invited to call Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. , with a service to follow at 7 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
