Joan Ann  McGee (Mosley)
Joan Ann (Macko) McGee died Tuesday, June 27, 2017 in Avon, CT, after a battle with Alzheimer’s disease.
Joan was a native of Auburn, the daughter of the late Andrew and Mary Sawaryn Mosley, and grew up on Perrine St.. She worked as a resource aid at St. James School and as a sales associate at Dey Brothers and Sibley’s Department stores in Syracuse. She enjoyed sewing, gardening and baking, and was a member of the Home Bureau Association at Robinson Memorial Church. She enjoyed vacationing in Florida, Atlantic City, and California. She was a communicant of St. John the Baptist Ukrainian Catholic Church in Syracuse, and SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church in Auburn.
She is survived by her children; Cheryl (Bruno) Hazen, Mark (Susan) Macko, Scott (Holly) Macko, Elizabeth “Becky” (John) Zellar, and her siblings Edward (Olga) Mosley, Ray (Peggy) Mosley Jeanette Mattes and Ted (Anne) Mosley. She is also survived by five grandsons, Daniel, Patrick, Connor, Benjamin and Jacob as well as four step-grandsons, and five great step grandchildren, with one on the way, and many nieces and nephews.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her second husband William E. McGee and first husband William F. Macko.
A funeral service for Joan will be at 9:30 A.M. Wednesday, July 26, in SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church, Auburn. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
