Obituary for Patricia A. Freeborn

Patricia A. Freeborn, 81, of Marietta passed away Sunday August 30, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. Born in Syracuse to the late Ambrose and Norma Ramsden, she was a graduate of Marcellus Central Schools and Syracuse General School of Nursing. Pat was a dedicated Labor & Delivery nurse for 33 years, retiring in 1996 from Crouse. She was a member of Marietta Christian Church and the Jayco Bluebird Camping Club.
She was predeceased by her siblings Roger Ramsden, Carol Carter and Joan Stout. Pat leaves behind her loving husband of 56 years Leonard "Bob" Freeborn, cherished daughters Laura (Chris) Sgouris, Martha (John) Linder and MaryBeth (Mark) Crysler. Pat also leaves behind her amazing and cherished grandchildren, Christopher (Erin) Sgouris, Nathan Sgouris, Erica (Brett) Chilcoat, Gabrielle (Ryan) Quinlan, Kayla (Derek) Phillips, R.J., Kern and Eva Linder, Garrett, Matthew, Joey, Justin and Jenny Crysler, great grandchildren, Carter and Colton Sgouris and Layla Chilcoat. Pat is also survived by her siblings Richard Ramsden, Bonnie Pulver, Nellie Hyde, Lucille Carter, Debbie Jones and several nieces and nephews.
Services for Pat will be 11 a.m. Friday September 4 at Marietta Christian Church. Friends and relatives may call on the family from 4-7 p.m. Thursday September 3 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the American Diabetes Association or Hospice of CNY.
