Obituary for Anna Hlywa

Anna Kuzan Hlywa, 86, formerly of Brookfield Place, Auburn, died Saturday, April 23, 2011. Mrs. Hlywa was a native of the Ukraine, and has resided in the Auburn area for the past 60 years. She was employed by the former Cayuga Cordage Co. She was a member of SS Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by a sister Katia and several nieces and nephews in Europe, and in-laws Michael (Carol) Hlywa, Mary Fedyshyn, and Anna Kinal, and several nieces and nephews in Auburn. She was predeceased by her husband William in 2003, and a sister and brother in Europe.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hlywa will be at 9 A.M. Thursday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 A.M. In SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Wednesday from 4 to 7 P.M. At the funeral home, 220 State St.
