Obituary for Elizabeth J. Jedra

Elizabeth J. "Bette" Jedra, 85, of Auburn, died Tuesday, February 4, at Auburn Community Hospital. Mrs. Jedra was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late Michael and Anne McDonough Roach. She attended St. Aloysius and West High Schools. She was employed by G.E. Powerex until her retirement in 1988. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church.
Mrs. Jedra is survived by her daughters, Sharon Caruso and Donna (Ed Arnold) Jedra, both of Auburn. Also surviving are seven grandchildren, Michael Jedra, Denise Benson, Daniel and Jason Bushallow, Samantha, William and Jean Hamilton, 13 great grandchildren, her sister Eleanor (Jerry) Mullins, of Roseville, CA, and brother Robert Roach of Utica. Bette was predeceased by her husband Frederick D. Jedra in 2007 and her sister Jean Durvetsky in 2006.
Funeral services for Mrs. Jedra will be at 9:30 A.M. Saturday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 10 A.M. in Holy Family Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Friday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
