Obituary for James T. Wright Sr.

James T. Wright Sr., 81, of Sun City Center, FL, passed away Friday, August 7, 2015. Mr. Wright was born September 10, 1933 in Marion, NY. He graduated from RIT while working to support his family. His career of 42 years in management with the Singer Co. started in Rochester, NY with Electromode and ended in Dallas, TX with Snyder General where he remained as a consultant.
He was an avid hunter, traveling to many areas in search of that "trophy rack", and a fisherman, enjoying spending time in Alexandria Bay. He enjoyed the game of golf, having been a member of Highland Park Golf Club in Auburn, for many years. He continued his love of the game when he bought his retirement home on a golf course in Florida.
Surviving is his wife of 63 years, Myrtle E. Wright (Schumske), one son James T. (Donna) Wright Jr., three daughters Patricia (Benny) Appleby, Deborah Ann and Tracy (Kelly) Beeler, two grandsons James T. (Ana) Wright III, and Jonathan Beeler, two granddaughters Stephanie (Eddie) Smithler and Morgan Beeler, and three great granddaughters Elizabeth Rose Smithler, Anabell Christine and Ava Marie Wright. He was predeceased by a son-in-law Steven Simmonds.
"His family was the most important thing in his life. He loved life, and lived his to the fullest. We will miss him every day.
There will be no calling hours. Burial will be at the convenience of the family in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
