Condolence: Mr O'Brien & Family, I was deeply saddened to read of Bob's passing. I hope you remember that he, Bill Adams & I were close friends back 1959, 60 & 61. We lost track of each other after we moved away, but, I often thought of him & those days. Many times I slept over at your house. It's ironic, but, I drove by your house this past Mother's Day. My thoughts & prayers & those of my family are with Bob & all of you. I will try to make the calling hours tomorrow. God bless Bob and his family. Chic Barry, Clay, NY see more

Condolence: I met Bob when we both attended Onondaga Road Elementary. Over the years we played on a lot of teams together and shared some special times. My birthday was April 2nd and Bob\'s was April 6th. When we turned 18 we shared a right of passage at a small tavern called The Little Shamrock that my uncle owned and never paid for a drink. I thought of you often over the years. Rest in peace bro. You were a good friend back when friends meant something special. see more

Condolence: Deb and family, I want to share my deepest heartfelt sympathy to you and your family. My heart is breaking knowing that Bob is no longer on this earth with the people that are still here with this huge void in their life. All through the years, Bob kept that big smile of his, the same one I remember as a teenager. He will be so missed! I know that God will reach down and embrace and comfort everyone who loved him. Bob and my brother, Bob, always kept me laughing! I will always hold those memories close to me because they are such special memories. Bob was one special guy, always a part of our family. We all loved him and will truly miss him. He was taken too soon and for that, we will never know the reason. Only God knows that, and we have to trust in him. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family🙏 R.I.P. Bob, we love you❤ see more

Condolence: I did not have the pleasure of knowing Bob very long. I only recently met him and some of this family. The circumstance under which Bob and I met were a little unorthodox. Sometimes initial impressions are the most genuine since you do not get a 2nd chance to make a 1st impression. The 1st time I ever met Bob I was struck with an overwhelming feeling that I just had a conversation with a rare man. I was not aware of Bob's illness until very recent, which only confirmed the impression Bob had on me in the very brief time I knew him. As we spoke for the 1st time his eyes and demeanor showed a sense of calm, gentle, kindness, open, forgiving, peace, class,....just a rare feeling or experience for me. I wish I met Bob a long time ago. I'm very sorry for his family and their loss. see more
