Obituary for Thomas C. Penman

Thomas C. Penman of Auburn, died Friday, June 20, 2014 at Auburn Community Hospital.
Born in Sharon, PA, he was the son of the late Harold and Lillian Olinger Penman. He received his BS degree from Youngstown University in 1960. He served as President and CEO of the Auburn and Cayuga County Chamber of Commerce until his retirement in 1995. He also managed Chambers of Commerce in Troy, Cortland, and Middletown, NY. He was a U.S. Army veteran, serving during the Korean Conflict.
Mr. Penman is survived by his wife Shirley Green Penman of Auburn, his sons Thomas Jr. (Kim) of St. Petersburg, FL, Brian (Kim) of Cohoes, NY and Bradley (Tina) of Mesa, AZ, seven grandchildren, and three great grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother Harold Jr. (Roberta), and many nieces and nephews.
Plans for a memorial service are pending, there are no calling hours.
