Ashlie M. (Gilfilian) Burriss, 37, of Camillus passed away at home on Thursday September 3, 2020. She was born in Syracuse and raised mostly in Syracuse but spent some years in Florida and graduated from South Sumter High School in Buschnell, Florida. She loved her family, especially all the nieces and nephews. She was a social butterfly, very outgoing and friendly and loved to talk and to talk to anyone she just loved people. She loved crosswords, playing her tablet and, most criminal shows including NCIS and criminal minds. Reading was another pastime, Harry Potter was her favorite. She always looked forward to her weekly shopping trips with her mother and walking to Target was a joy for her. She was very artsy loved to color, and draw. She was the most non-judgmental person you would ever meet.
Ashlie is survived by her mother Robin Gilfilian, her father Wynter (Tammy) Burriss, her brother Joshua (Angela) Gilfilian, two sisters Brandie (Matthew) Monday, and Callie Moran. She also leaves behind her Grandmother Gloria Gilfilian, 5 nieces and nephews and multiples aunts, uncles, and cousins.
Calling hours for Ashlie will be 1-3 p.m. Saturday September 12, at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Due to Covid-19 NYS Guidelines will be followed, face masks, social distancing and occupancy limitations.
