Obituary for Betty M. Norris

Betty M. Norris, 91, of Rose Hill passed away Wednesday August 14, 2013 at Van Duyn Home and Hospital. She was born in Tully, to the late William and Bertha King. Betty loved, baking, sweets, coffee, music, spending time with family and friends and creative writing. She was predeceased by her husband Howard Norris in 2001.
She is survived by her daughter Sandy Wilcox of Syracuse; son Joseph (Sandra) Norris of Ocala, FL; son in law Jerry Wilcox of Marcellus; sister in law Mary Norris; grandchildren Joseph Norris Jr., Melissa Harter and Matthew Wilcox; great grandchildren Kara Norris, Aden and Nolan Harter.
Services for Betty will be 3 p.m. Saturday September 14 at the Plis Funeral Home. Burial will be Thorn Hill Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 1-3 p.m. Saturday September 14 prior to the service at the funeral home 33 North St., Marcellus.
Memorial contributions may be made to either Hospice of CNY or Marietta Christian Church, 2851 Sevier Rd. Marietta, NY 13110.
