Obituary for Charles M "Mack" White Jr.
Charles M. White Jr., "Mack", 88, of Auburn, died Wednesday, May 21, 2014, at Auburn Community Hospital.
Mr. White was a native of Bethlehem, PA, the son of the late Charles M. and Eleanor Rutheford White. He was a graduate of Lehigh University, and a Navy veteran of WW II. He came to Auburn in 1978, to work as an outside salesman for Austeel, retiring as V.P. of Sales.
"Mack is survived by his son Charles M. "Mack" White III of Auburn, his daughters Barbara (Edward) Antosh of Shelbyville, Tennessee and Betsy White of Williamsport, PA, four grandchildren Mary and Matthew Antosh and McCrea and Mitchell White, and three great-grandchildren Cierra Nashae, Shawna Nicole and Camren Lee Bryant. Also surviving is his brother Peter Boyd White of Towson, MD, and his dear and caring companion Irene Sellman. He was predeceased by his wife Frances Bowman White in May, 2000.
The family will receive friends starting at 6 P.M. Tuesday evening at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St. A memorial service will follow at 7 P.M.
