Danny J.  Penird
Danny James Penird Jr., of Auburn, passed into the arms of his personal Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ unexpectedly on April 28, 2018.
Danny was born and raised in Auburn. He attended both Auburn and Moravia High Schools, and graduated college with an associate’s degree in Business. He was an active entrepreneur in Time Share Sales. His work had him traveling the United States to Atlantic City, The Hamptons, Myrtle Beach, Newport, RI, St. Thomas, and for the last decade in Las Vegas, NV. During his free spirited travels he made many friends and acquaintances that enjoyed his joyful spirit and Charismatic nature.
Danny is survived by his parents, Sandra Allen (Greg Austin) and Danny J. and Amy Penird Sr., his children Jacob and Chyna Penird both of Virginia. He is also survived by his sisters Wendy Penird, Connie (Donald) York, Farrah Penird, and Samantha Penird, his brothers Scott Austin and Logan Penird, several nieces and nephews that he adored; Sean Kubat, Gavin Walsh, Luna Penird, Austyn, Allyssa and Whitney York, and Sophia Currier, several aunts, uncles and cousins, including Aunt Virginia Soules who was like a second mom to him. He was predeceased by his grandparents and two uncles.
The family will receive friends on Wednesday May 23rd from 4 to 6 p.m. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
Contributions may be made in Danny’s memory to HEAL, Cayuga County.
