Obituary for David J. Moser
David J. Moser, 90, of Marcellus passed away Tuesday March 6, 2012 at Upstate University Hospital. Born in Levittsburg, OH, he worked as an Industrial engineer for many large companies throughout his career and eventually retired from Boeing Commercial Airlines. He was a veteran of the US Army Air Corps, serving during WWII. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, Morning Star Lodge #524 F&A.M, and Ralph Share American Legion Post #297.
David is survived by his wife of 67 years the former Wilma McManus Moser, two sons Marty Moser and his wife, Cheryl of York, PA, and Bruce Moser and his wife, Mary of Church Creek, MD, as well as three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren and sisters Pauline Pesko and Noreen Shagnot, both of Ohio. He was predeceased by a son James Moser.
Services will be 10:45 a.m. Saturday March 10, 2012 at the Plis Funeral Home. Burial, with military honors, will be in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus. American Legion and Masonic services starting at 10:45 am. Friends may call on the family from 9-10:45 a.m. Saturday at the funeral home, 33 North St., Marcellus prior to the services.
Memorial contributions can be made to the Morning Star Lodge #524 F&A.M.
