Obituary for Donald E. Ross

Donald E. Ross, 78, of Marcellus passed away at Upstate University Hospital on August 3, 2012 after a courageous 14 month battle with Lymphoma. He was a gifted Ford car mechanic and retired from J.A. Excavating. Don was veteran of the US Army. He was an avid NASCAR fan, and had a wonderful sense of humor.
Don leaves behind his cherished daughters Tami Ross of Marcellus and Kimberly (Rick) Carlson of Arkansas; brother Gordon Ross of Auburn; grandson Riley Carlson, ex wife and good friend Sis Norris and her husband Bruce, several nieces, nephews, his cat and faithful companion Tuesday his extended family Don (Dawn) Norris, Trevor Norris and the folks at Nine Mile Landing.
A memorial service for Don will be 7 p.m. Wednesday August 8, 2012 at the Plis Funeral Home. Friends may call on the family from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday prior to the service at the funeral home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the CNY Cat Coalition PO Box 6182 Syracuse, NY 13217
