Obituary for Earline W. Hall (Womble)

Earline W Hall, 95, of Marcellus passed away peacefully at home on Friday, March 1st, 2019. She was a warm, caring southern hospitality driven lady. Her love of card games, puzzles, quilts, Lawrence Welk, and romance novels made her exquisite. She loved her family and always enjoyed lasagna night. She implemented the fine arts of canning and preserving her garden, and of course her signature applesauce.
Born in Florence, Alabama, she moved to New York by her husband Hubert. Earline was a stay at home mom for 3 loving children and was an avid gardener and quilter. She was a founding member of the United Methodist Church Gift & Thrift Shop. She was predeceased by her husband Hubert Hall in 2008, she is survived by her children, Pat (Gary) Sposato-Jaron, Thomas (Elizabeth) Hall, and Karen Presher-Sica. She also leaves behind her grandchildren Laura (Joshua) Romanowicz, Susanna Sica, Joseph Sica, and great grandchildren Cody Romanowicz & Orianna Romanowicz).
Service will be 6 p.m. Thursday March 7 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Spring burial will be in Collamer Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home prior to the services.
Memorial donation in Earline’s memory may be made to the Marcellus United Methodist Church.
