Obituary for Edythe Reardon

Edythe Reardon, 88, of Liverpool passed away on Saturday March 28, 2015 at St. Joseph's Hospital. She was born in Staten Island, NY and was the last of 5 children to the late Howard and Rae Vanderbilt. In 1972, Edythe moved to Marietta from Staten Island. In 1976, she joined Morning Star Chapter 289 O.E.S; she was named Grand Historian for NY State in 1989. She loved spending time with her friends, watching Yankee games as an avid fan, and volunteering at the Eastern Star. She loved her family, especially her grandchildren. Edythe was predeceased by her husband, Edward Reardon in 1997.
She is survived by her daughter Bonnie Moses of Vermont, son Scott (Pamela) Kelley of Ohio, son Rance (Maria) Bradshaw of Liverpool, NY, 11 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren, as well as her many nieces and nephews: Rae, John, Michelle, Patricia, and little John Garzone.
Calling hours will be from 10-noon Tuesday at St. John's Episcopal Church, 15 Orange St., Marcellus; services will take place at the church and will begin at noon. She will be buried with her husband in Onondaga County Veteran's Cemetery; burial services are open to friends and family that would like to remember Edythe.
Memorial donations may be made to Disabled American Veteran.
