Obituary for Eleanor Mills Grinnell

Eleanor Mills Grinnell, 90, of Rose Hill passed away Wednesday June 12, 2013 at home on her 90th birthday. Born in Syracuse on June 12, 1923, she was the daughter of the late Frank B. Mills Jr. and Mae Wheat Mills and resided in Rose Hill most of her life.
She graduated from Skaneateles High School in 1941, Centenary College in 1943 and Syracuse University in 1945. She retired from Auburn Memorial Hospital. Eleanor was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Marcellus and the Marcellus Grange.
She is survived by her son and daughter in law R. Bruce Grinnell and Christine Grinnell; daughter Susan J. Grinnell, and two granddaughters Rebecca and Emily Grinnell.
Services will be 1 p.m. Monday June 17, at Rose Hill Baptist Church. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles. Calling hours will be from 12-1 p.m. Monday at the church prior to the service.
Memorial contributions may be made to either the First Presbyterian Church of Marcellus or Rose Hill Baptist Church.
