Obituary for Elsie M. Beck

Elsie M. Beck, 87, of Camillus went to be with the Lord on Sunday May 11, 2014. Born in Syracuse to the late Harold and Hattie Sperling, she worked in retail for Charney's Clothing Store and Bonn's Clothing. She loved to needle point, make crafts, garden and bake cookies. Elsie was predeceased by her grandson Benjamin Cain.
She is survived by her daughters Georgeen (John) Eklund of Baldwinsville and Cathie (John) Cain of Liverpool; sons Joseph Beck of Camillus, Tom (Carol) Beck of Preble and Jon Beck of Navarino; sisters Betty Spaulding and Patricia Sperling; brothers Jim, Burt and Clifford Sperling; 6 grandchildren, 1 great grandchild and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday May 14, at the Plis Funeral Home. Burial will be in Borodino Cemetery. Calling hours will be from 5-7 p.m. Tuesday (today) May 13 at the funeral home 33 North St. Marcellus, NY.
