Obituary for Franka Milczakowskyj

Franka Lesiw Milczakowskyj, 91, of Auburn, died peacefully with her loved ones at her side, Monday, April 8, 2013, at Highland Hospital, Rochester.
Mrs. Milczakowskyj was born in 1922 in Ivano-Frankovsk, Ukraine. She immigrated to Rochester, NY in 1949, where she was a member of the Ukrainian Church Choir. After her marriage to Gabriel Milczakowskyj of Auburn, NY in 1953, and after moving to Auburn, became a devout member of SS Peter & Paul Ukrainian Catholic Church. She was a former employee of the Columbian Rope Co..
She is survived by her loving daughter Ann Marie (Bohdan) Skrobach, her son Michael Milczakowskyj, her grandchildren Natalie (Alexander) Lalka, Christina (Nicholas) Maloy, Stephanie Skrobach with fiancé Andrew Rose, Andrij and Demetrius Milczakowskyj, and great –granddaughter Marianna Lalka. She was predeceased by her husband of 44 years, Gabriel, in 1998.
Friends are invited to call Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M., at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn. Funeral services will be held at 11 A.M. Friday in SS Peter Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Contributions may be made in Mrs. Milczakowskyj's memory to SS Peter & Paul Church, 132 Washington St., Auburn, NY 13021.
The family would like to express their sincerest gratitude to the Highland Hospital Geriatric Physician Team, 6 West Wing nursing and social work staff, and 7 East Wing Hospice Staff, for their love and undivided care to Mrs. Milczakowskyj and her family.
