Obituary for Harold Lepak

Harold "John" Lepak, of Auburn, died Sunday, January 9, 2011,
following a brief illness.
Born April 24, 1930, he was the don of the late Stephen and
Margaret Homik Lepak. He resided most of his life in Auburn, and
retired from ALCO (auburn Technology in 1992.

He had a passion for motorcycles that carried him from the time
he was old enough to ride, until his death. He was one of the
youngest members of the "Auburn Death Riders' in the late 1940's.
He rode his motorcycle up into his late 70's, enjoying the
freedom of the ride that only a true enthusiast could really
appreciate.

"John" leaves behind his loving wife of 43 years Ellen "Terri"
Halsey Lepak, three daughters, Elizabeth (Joe) Vuillemot, Susan
Lepal (John Skowron) and Roxanne (Dale) Cuddeback, and a son
Steve Lepak. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren, Danielle
Vuillemot, Thomas Keegan, Stefan Lepak, Jessica Hogg, Stacy
Sargent Ray Pond Jr., and Amy Sanzotta, and several great
grandchildren. He was predeceased by his daughter Michelle
Mastropietro in 1990.

Funeral services for Harold will be at 9 A.M. Thursday, from the
Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 A.M. In SS Peter & Paul Church.
Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to
call Wednesday, from 4 to 7 P.M. At the funeral home, 220 State
St.

Contributions may be made in his memory to SS Peter & Paul
School.
