Helen Kowal Sage, 97, of Auburn, died Tuesday, October 9, 2018, at the Commons on St. Anthony.
Mrs. Sage was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late Michael and Fotinia Orysek Kowal. She was retired from General Electric, Auburn. She was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church.
Helen is survived by her sisters Elizabeth McDonald and Sr. Miriam Claire (Virginia Kowal) OSBM, her brother David (Cathy) Kowal, several nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, and great-great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Robert Sage in 2008, her parents, and her sisters Mary and Julia Kowal, Anastasia (Nellie) Boncariwsky, Sophie Berry and Ann (Barbara) Crawford.
Funeral services for Mrs. Sage will be at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, October 16, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 10 A.M. in SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Monday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St., Auburn.
