Obituary for Helen M. Walsh

Helen M. Walsh, 95, of Liverpool formerly of Marcellus passed away Monday September 10, 2012 at Crouse Hospital. Born in Syracuse, she retired from Crouse Irving Memorial in 1980 after working there for 26 years. Helen was a member of the Crouse Irving Memorial Alumni and St. Paul's Episcopal Church. She was predeceased by her husband John in 1994 and step daughter Joan Allen.
Helen is survived by her sons James and Thomas (Karen) both of Liverpool; step daughters Eleanor Diamond and Suzanne Venditti; 9 grandchildren and several great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Services will be 10:30 a.m. Thursday September 13th, at the Plis Funeral Home. Private burial will be in Hillside Cemetery, Central Square. Calling hours will be from 4-7 p.m. Wednesday September 12th at the funeral home, 33 North St. Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Crouse Hospital Foundation, College of Nursing 736 Irving Ave. Syracuse, NY 13210.
