Horace Richard “Dick” Crysler, 82 of Marcellus passed away peacefully at his home on May 20, 2023 with his family by his side. Dick was an Army veteran serving during Vietnam. He worked in construction for several years before becoming an Independent truck driver. Dick was a huge Nascar fan, avid hunter, and enjoyed time spent with family and friends.
Dick is survived by his wife Sally, children Steven (Nancy) Crysler, Dana (Mark) Crysler-Crombach, Bryan (Tracey) Wolf, Brenda Wolf (David), Sheri (Scott) Collier, his siblings Helen Newell, Dorothy (Russell) Snell and Ronald (Karsi) Crysler. He also leaves behind several grandchildren, 1 great grandson, several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents Horace and Helen Crysler he is also predeceased by his brothers Ellis “Ray” and Robert Crysler and sister Dawn Amsbaugh.
A Celebration of Life will be held at the Navarino Fire Department 3276 Amber Rd., Syracuse on Sunday June 11 from 1-4 pm.
