Obituary for James "Junior" Puffett
James “Junior” Puffett, Jr., 94 of Marcellus passed away Sunday November 10, 2019 at The Common’s on St. Anthony. Born in Marcellus, he was the last surviving child out of 8 to the late James and Nancy Puffett. He was a millwright at Crouse-Hinds for 43 years retiring in 1992. He was a member of IBEW Local 2537 at Crouse Hinds. Junior proudly served our country in the US Army during WWII.
He is survived by nieces Ginny (Tom) Miles of Central Square, and Helen Robinson of Marietta, nephew Gary (Karen) Wheeler of New Berlin and several members of his extended family. Besides his parents and siblings he was also predeceased by his wife Hollis in 1974.
Services for Junior will be 1 p.m. Saturday November 16 at the Plis Funeral Home. An hour of calling will be from 12-1 p.m. Saturday prior to the service at the funeral home, 33 North St., Marcellus.
