My condolences to the entire Baumes family. I knew John from Bristol. What I remember most was each time I saw him he had a smile on his face, as if he was up to something. That wasn't that case. It was simply a reflection of his happy and easy going nature. I hope wonderful memories you have of John will help to ease your loss. Travel well John.

I had the privilege and honor to work with John in the Bldg.75 complex on anti tumor medicine.John was a excellent coworker and a pleasure to work with. Whenever we had an issue he was always there to assist us in that problem solving. He had a keen sense of humor and truly enjoyed music especially the band RUSH who we as a group collectively went to see at the New York State Fair. I would of attended the wake, but unfortunately I am just hearing this. My condolences to the entire Baumes family.

My condolences to the Baumes family. John was a truly valued work (BMS) colleague of mine for many years. Valued not just for his professional competence and skills, but perhaps more importantly, his character. A good man.

My sincere sympathy to Nancy, Steven and Katie, and the rest of the Baumes family. I enjoyed working with John at Bristol-Myers Squibb for over 25 years. He weathered a number of organizational changes with grace and completed many projects under technically demanding conditions. No matter how busy he was, John always made time to talk with his colleagues. And he was a great source of Dr. Who trivia! He will truly be missed.
