J. Russel Masters went home to be with his Lord, January 8th, 2021. A 1945 graduate of Marcellus High School and attendant of Clarkson University, Russel farmed for most of his 93 years. He also served as Highway Superintendent and Refuse Officer for The Town of Skaneateles. He belonged to the United Christian Church of Marietta and was a servant of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Russel is predeceased by his parents John & Isa (Lord) Masters and his sisters Fern Masters, Norma Hughes and Dorothy Manilla.
He is survived by his wife of 53 years; Marilyn; his children Kathy (Tom) Kitt, Marlene (Ed) Cogan, Michele (Jim) Norstad, Joel (Michelle) Masters and six grandchildren.
A private graveside service will be held at Shepard Settlement Cemetery, in the spring.
