Kathleen McWade Robinson, 93, a resident of Marcellus for over 61 years, died at her home on Monday, July 16, 2019. She worked as a teacher for many years before becoming a substitute school teacher later in her career. Kathleen was very active in the First Presbyterian Church of Marcellus and served on the UP Women’s Group. She loved to ski, garden and spend time with her family. Kathleen returned to OCC to get a degree in sign language and then substituted at Westhill in the deaf program.
Her husband Thomas died in 2011.
She is survived by her son Thomas S. Robinson Jr.; daughters: Andrea (Mark) Foley, Nancy Robinson, Amy Robinson; sister-in-law Peggy McWade; grandsons: Jason & Jeffrey Foley; and several nieces and nephews.
A memorial service will be held on Tuesday at 10am in the First Presbyterian Church of Marcellus. Calling hours are Monday from 4-7pm at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North Street, Marcellus.
