Obituary for Laura Marchisin

Laura Marchisin, 90, of Vista St., Auburn, died Monday, January 23, 2012, following a brief illness.
Mrs. Marchisin was a life resident of Auburn, the daughter of the late Ignatius and Celia Kryczak Wawrzaszek. She retired in 1982 from Auburn Memorial Hospital, as Supervisor of Housekeeping, and 22 years of service. She was an avid bowler and Bingo player, and enjoyed spending time with her grand and great-grand children.
She is survived by her daughters and son-in-law, Gloria and Joseph Odrzywolski, and Cathy Marchisin, all of Auburn, granddaughters Lori Meyers and Michele Odrzywolski, and great granddaughters, Ashley and Kelsey Meyers. She was predeceased by her husband Andrew Marchisin in 1993, her great grandson John Andrew Meyers, and her brother Stanley "Nancy" Wawrzaszek.
Funeral services for Mrs. Marchisin will be at 9:30 A.M. Friday, at the Plis Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Half Acre. Friends are invited to call Thursday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St..
