Obituary for Leila C. Austin
Leila C. Austin, 93, of Navarino, passed away on June 5, 2020. She cared for many patients during her years at Crouse Irving Memorial Hospital. Leila loved her family, teaching them many worthwhile life lessons and skills. She was a devout Catholic and shared her faith as an instructor of religious education.
She is survived by her children Susan, Virginia, James (Terri), George (Laurie), Matthew, and Maureen and many grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Her sister Marilyn Powell also survives her. Leila was predeceased by her husband, Floyd and children Timothy, Nancy, and Christopher.
Services will be private for the family at this time.
