Obituary for Linda Anne Beaulieu (Casselman)

Linda Anne Beaulieu (Casselman)
August 6, 1946-April 22, 2024

Linda Anne Beaulieu, 77, of Marcellus passed away on Monday, April 22, 2024. She was predeceased by her parents, James and Elizabeth Casselman and her great- granddaughter angel, Mariah Rose Berube.
Linda was born in Potsdam, New York before moving to the Syracuse area. She was a proud graduate of Eastwood High School, cherishing many fond memories and special places in the Eastwood community. Linda settled in Marcellus to raise her children. After raising her children, she worked as a nurse providing home care to people in need.
While many may recognize Linda because of her captivating, beautiful blue eyes, she was known to many for her kind soul. Even if she had just a little to give, she would give it away to make someone else’s day better and would never want anything in return. Linda enjoyed her crosswords, puzzles, and word searches. An avid reader, she would often finish a book in a single day. She was a skilled knitter, swimmer, and gardener. Linda always made sure to have nuts for the squirrels as well as her own stash of sweets for that sweet tooth of hers. The last few years were some of the happiest for her as she moved to Nine Mile Landing and made many special friends and memories.
Linda is survived by her siblings; Carol Maher of Phoenix, NY; Christine Yackel of Texas; and David Casselman of Tennessee. She also leaves behind her children; Lisa (Scott) Chapman of Marietta; Sandra (Thomas) David of Camillus; Gerard (Kristie) Beaulieu of Syracuse; and Bridgette (Doug) Clay of Lafayette. She was a proud Grandma of 12 grandchildren and 9 great-grandchildren.
Her departure comes as a great shock and a deep wound. It is gravely felt by her entire family and countless others who loved her deeply. The family will not be hosting formal services; instead a celebration of Linda’s life will be held this summer.
