Obituary for Louise Carnicelli Aubin

Louise Carnicelli Aubin, 86, of Auburn, died Monday, January 2, 2012, at home, following an extended illness. Mrs. Aubin was a life resident of the Auburn area, the daughter of the late Samuel and Catherine DiGiaimo Carnicelli. She worked for many years as a waitress in local restaurants, retiring from J.J.'s Restaurant. She was a member of the Carnicelli-Indelicato Post American Legion Auxiliary, and a communicant of St. Francis Church.
She is survived by her children and their spouses, Edith and Buddy Barrette, and James and Melanie Aubin all of Auburn, four grandchildren Jessica and Joseph (Robin) Barrette, Thomas J. (Kylie) Aubin II, and Michele Marie Aubin, five great grandchildren and her daughter-in-law Dawn Aubin. Also surviving are her sisters Philomena Carnicelli, Ida Morabito, Dianna Rush, and Norma Riffle of Auburn, her brothers Arthur Carnicelli of Florida, and Anthony Carnicelli of Auburn, and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Thomas J. Aubin in June, 2011, her son Thomas W. Aubin in November 2001, her sister Josephine Carnicelli, and brothers John, Carmen, Pfc Charles who died in WW II, Roland and James.
Funeral services for Mrs. Aubin will be at 10:45 A.M. Friday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and 11:30 A.M. in St. Francis Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Thursday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the funeral home, 220 State St.
Contributions may be made in Mrs. Aubin's memory to Hospice of the Finger Lakes.
