Lucy J. Piestrak Tarby, 98, of Auburn, died Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at Auburn Community Hospital.
Mrs. Tarby was a native of Syracuse, the daughter of the late Andrew and Josephine Wal Krzyzak. She has resided in the Auburn area for most of her life. She was a former employee of Welch-Allyn, retiring in 1968. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth’s Church.
Lucy is survived by her daughters Josephine Silliman and Helen (Paul) Kotzer, both of Auburn, six grandchildren, Paul M., Steven, and David Kotzer, Stanley (Shawn) Silliman, Julie (Michael) Liccion, and Jennifer (Frank) Wlad, and nine great grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her husbands Julian Piestrak and Michael Tarby.
Mrs. Tarby’s Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 A.M. Saturday in St. Hyacinth’s Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. There are no calling hours.
