Obituary for Margaret "Peggy" Richardson

Margaret Ellen (Peggy) Sweeney Richardson, 65, loving wife of Rodney W. Richardson, died Wednesday, April 24, 2013 at Auburn Community Hospital, surrounded by her loving family and friends.
Peggy was a born February 20, 1948, the daughter of the late Robert and Ann Smolak Sweeney.
She was a life resident of the Auburn area. She was a graduate of Auburn Central High School, and was employed by General Products of Union Springs, and Central New York Bottle Company. She is remembered as a caring woman with a calm demeanor and a good sense of humor. She gave love generously and unconditionally to her family and friends.
In addition to her husband, she is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Jennifer Annelle Richardson and Patrick Tillman, her son and daughter-in-law Robert Alexander Janas and Teresa Loyola Janas, all of Auburn, her son and daughter-in-law David Michael Janas and Susan Alexandra Noseworthy of Springfield, VA, her step- daughter Amanda Johnson, and her sister and brother-in- law, Nancy and David Schafer of New Port Richey, FL.. She is also survived by her brothers-in-law Gerald Lentini of Palm Bay, FL, Milton (Buzzy) and Vivian Richardson of Auburn, Byron (Theresa) Richardson and Larry Richardson, all of Rochester, several nieces and nephews, and great –grandchildren. One of her greatest joys in life was spending time with her beloved grandchildren, Andrew David , John Connor , and Dylan Janas, Ian James, Josephine Ellen, and Alexandra Rose Janas, Zayden Patrick, and Zyron Rodney Tillman, Brittany and Cassondra Lopez, and Rhiannon Duvall.
Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her brother Robert Sweeney, sisters Marianne Sweeney and Patricia Lentini, and her brother-in-Law Wesley Richardson.
Funeral services for Peggy will be at 10:30 A.M. Tuesday in St. Hyacinth's Church. Burial will be private. There are no callings hours.
