Mary Hawuczyk, 96, of Hayden Rd., Port Byron, died Wednesday, August 15, 2018. Mrs. Hawuczyk was a native of the Ukraine and has resided in the area for the past 70 years. Until her retirement, she had been employed by McQuay Industries. She was a communicant of Ss Peter & Paul Church.
She is survived by her two sons Jerry and Harry Hawuczyk, both of Port Byron, her grandchildren Tetyana (Tanya) Drulyk, Marika Ralph and Gregory Hawuczyk, and great grandchildren Anthony Drulyk and Nicholas Ralph. She was predeceased by her husband Harry Hawuczyk in 2017.
Funeral services for Mrs. Hawuczyk will be at 9 a.m. Monday from the Plis Funeral Home, and 9:30 a.m. in SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph’s Cemetery. Friends are invited to call on Sunday from 4 to 7 p.m. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
