Obituary for Mary Kalet

Mary Kalet, 87, formerly of Port Byron, died Friday, July 25, 2014. Mary was born in Poland, and resided in Canada for four years, before coming to the Auburn area in 1944. She was employed by McQuay for over 20 years, until her retirement in 1989. She was a communicant of St. Hyacinth's Church, and was a former member of the Port Byron and Aurelius Senior's Groups, and R.S.V.P.
She is survived by her daughters Christine and her husband R. Michael Reilly of Manlius, and Karen Fallat of Camilius, and a step-son David (Janice) Kalet of Chicago. She is also survived by grandchildren Jonathan and Jennifer Reilly and great grandson Jayden Stathis-Reilly, step – grandsons Peter, Adam, Brian and Chad Kalet, and one step-great grandchild.
She was predeceased by her husband's John Fallat in 1971 and Leon Kalet in 2009.
Funeral services for Mrs. Kalet will be at 9:30 A.M. Tuesday, from the Plis Funeral Home, and a Mass of Christian Burial will be offered at 10 A.M. in St. Hyacinth's Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
Friends are invited to call Monday from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
Contributions may be made in Mrs. Kalet's memory to a charity of one's choice.
The family wishes to thank the staff of The Nottingham and University Hospital for the kindness and care given to their mother.
