Obituary for Mary Margaret Moore

Mary Margaret Moore, 93, of Auburn, died Thursday, November 10, 2011, following an extended illness. Mary was born March 8, 1918 in Auburn, the daughter of the late Peter and Anna Bodner. Mary worked at ALCO during WW II, and until her retirement, she was employed at Dunn-McCarthy.
She is survived by her sons, Tom Moore of Auburn, and Tim Moore of Whitesboro, NY, grandchildren Padric (Carrie) Moore of Schenectady, Brynne (Chris) Stark of Oakham, MA, Adam Moore of Rochester and Taryn Moore of Whitesboro, and great grandchildren Kayla Moore and Rosalie Mary Stark. Also surviving are her sisters Helen Tarby of Camilius, Dorothy Kalabanka of Auburn, and Theresa D��(TM)Alberto of Ohio, her brother William (June) Bodner of Auburn, several nieces and nephews, and special friends A.J. (Jean) Bosman of Rome, and Mike LoBisco of Auburn, whom Mary considered part of her family. Besides her parents, she was predeceased by her husband Theodore “Ted” Moore in 1993, her sister Ann Lewis, brother Peter Bodner, and her step-father James Kenty.
Funeral services for Mrs. Moore will be at 11 A.M. Monday, at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State Street. Burial will be in St. Joseph��(TM)s Cemetery. There are no prior calling hours.
The family would like to thank Cindy Church, Katie Ireland, Yvonne Mills, the staff at AMH, especially 2nd Memorial, Dr. Vounas, and Hospice of the Finger Lakes, for the care and love they showed Mary, and they request that you hug a child in Mary��(TM)s memory, or contribute to the charity of ones choice.
