Mary Louise (Buza) Winters, 87, of Navarino, went home to be with the Lord on May 25, 2021 surrounded by her family. Born on February 11, 1934, she was the youngest daughter of the late Stephen & Anna Rebecca (Bell) Buza.
She graduated from Split Rock High School in 1950. She met her husband as a teenager and married him November 21, 1953. Mary Lou was a homemaker, raising her family to follow the Lord. She was a faithful member of Grace Assembly of God in Taunton.
Making music was a big part of her life. She was a gifted musician, expertly playing the piano, organ and accordion. She played and sang for church services, with family and friends, and her children and grandchildren.
She would tell you her greatest blessings were her husband, children, grandchildren & great- grandchildren. They loved and depended on her.
Mary Lou is survived by her loving husband of 67 years, Ronald J Sr, her children Ronald Jr, Melody Smith, Randy (Stephanie), Melissa (Frank), Rebecca, and Allen (Elise) Winters and her grandchildren, to whom she was “Nana” Stacy (Brian) Feocco, Heather (Scott) Ryan, Dale Anderson, Joy, Ashley (Charles), Clayton Winters, Adam, Jeffery, Cory, Morgan, Monika Schuyler. Her Great- Grandchildren, Sarah, Ian, Jaiden, Gabriel, Lena, Ida, and Jeremiah. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her brother, Stephen “Bill” Buza and sister, Catherine Buza McConnell. Also, by her 4 grandchildren, Colleen, John, Ronald III Winters and Nadine Amidon. She will be greatly missed by family and friends.
Friends may call on the family Tuesday June 8th, from 9:00am - 10:00am and stay for a brief service at Grace Assembly of God, 4220 Fay Road; Syracuse, NY. Burial will follow at 11:00am at Veteran’s Memorial Cemetery, 4069 Howlett Hill Road; Syracuse, NY.
