Obituary for Mary Stalker Woods

Mary Stalker Woods, 104, of Southport, NC passed away Wednesday May 2, 2012. Born in Tillicoultry, Scotland, Mary moved to Marcellus when just 18 months old, where she resided until 2009 when she moved to Southport with her daughter-in-law Donna Woods. She attended Syracuse University and was a member of Kappa Delta sorority. She was a cashier at the First National Bank of Marcellus and later worked for the First Trust and Deposit of Syracuse. Mary was a member of the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church and the Friends of Marcellus Library. She was predeceased by her husband Erwin in 1994 and son John in 1992.
Mary is survived by her daughter-in-law Donna; granddaughters Melissa (James) Rosinski of Verona, NJ and Jennifer (John) Tross of Windermere, FL; great grandchildren Anna, John and Ella Rosinski and several nieces and nephews.
A graveside service for Mary will be 11 a.m. Friday May 11, 2012 at Highland Cemetery, Marcellus. The family will greet friends following the service at the Fireside Room at the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to either the Marcellus First Presbyterian Church or the Marcellus Library.
