Obituary for Metford H. Frost Jr.
Metford H. Frost, Jr., passed away February 1, 2021 at upstate University Hospital. Born to the late Metford and Bertha Richards Frost, he was a true farmer. He belonged to the Farm Bureau, Finger Lakes Antique Power and the New York Steam Engine Association.
Met is survived by his companion Laura, daughter Jean Byrne, and son Metford (Michele), grandchildren Vincent, Hunter and JeriJo Byrne, Matthew, Luke and Megan Frost. He is also survived by his siblings Richard (Betty), Alice (Fred), Clara, Florence (John), Barbara (Bruce), and Jesse (Robie) and several nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he was predeceased by his first wife Karen, second wife Judy and son-in-law Jerry Byrne.
Calling hours will be from 4-6 p.m. Friday Feb. 5, at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St., Marcellus. Covid-19 protocols will be enforced, face masks must be worn, building capacity will be enforced please dress appropriately since you might have to wait to be admitted. A private burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, Skaneateles.
