Obituary for Olga Mulyk Gelembiuk

Olga Mulyk Gelembiuk, 90, of Auburn, died Tuesday at Community General Hospital, Syracuse, following a brief illness. She was the wife of the late William Gelembiuk.
Mrs. Gelembiuk was a native of Auburn, and resided in Marcellus for a number of years, before returning in 1998. She was a graduate of Auburn High School and Auburn Business School. She had been employed by ALCO and Beacon Milling. Olga was an avid reader, and loved to garden and cook.
She was a communicant of SS Peter & Paul Church, and a member of the Altar Rosary and Sacred Heart Societies at the church.
She is survived by her son Gregory Gelembiuk of Madison, Wis., her cousin Stella Pearsall, brothers-in-law Peter Murinka and Michael Gelembiuk, and a dear friend Millie Fallat, nieces and nephews.
Besides her husband William, who predeceased her in 1997, she was predeceased by her sisters Pauline Murinka and Mary Mulyk.
Funeral services for Mrs. Gelembiuk will be at 10 A.M. Saturday in SS Peter & Paul Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Saturday at the church, starting at 9 A.M.
Contributions may be made in Olga's memory to SS Peter & Paul Church.
