We are just learning of Uncle Paul’s passing and share our condolences and love. How I adored our many visits to the Ackles farm! I so cherish memories of sitting in the old school bus and picking cherries through the windows; playing in the barn; walking through the cows, playing in the girls’ rooms, and of course, Aunt Barb’s apple pie! Paul’s Joy and laughter will always remain in my heart. Much love from the Borden family.

In loving tribute to Paul's gentle spirit - a genuine humble spirit that reflected his concern and care for the needs of others, his quick humor and positive attitude, his love of God and God's gift of Nature in his long profession of crop farming, apple business, and his dedicated work with the Marcellus schools.

We are very thankful for the blessings of Paul's life in our lives and the joy of precious memories.

To this day I share the story of my favorite bus driver Mr Ackles - He was the kindest man. I will never forget the impact he made on this rebellious teenage, he would stop at my house (my mom went to work for 7am as a nurse) blow the horn then go around the block and 9 times out of 10 I would be there waiting when he came back around. He would open the door with that twinkle in his blue eyes and smile
I will continue to share my story ❤️
The world needs more men like him .

Cindy and family ,
So sorry to hear of your dads passing, thru the many years living on Rose Hill I worked off and on many times for your dad, grandfather, and uncle.
They were all very kind to me. I picked apples, repaired barn roofs, remodeled bedrooms, loaded and unloaded hay, and drank gallons of apple cider ! ..I hunted the farm and woods around it and always enjoyed the time spent there !
We can all only hope to live the life your father did ! He was a good man and will be missed....
