Obituary for Robert T. Barnes

Robert Thomas Barnes, 64, passed away at his residence in Jamesville on December 15, 2012. Robert was born on January 8, 1948, in Teaneck, NJ, the son of Margaret and George Barnes. He moved to Syracuse with his family in 1955.
Robert "Bob" enjoyed music, especially the Beatles and Elvis. He loved playing his drums, dancing, bowling for trophies, and horseback riding. Robert had many special friends and wonderful, caring people in his life. We will all miss him. His family would like to thank the very dedicated people who did so much to enrich Robert's life.
He was predeceased by his parents and brother William.
Surviving are his sister Patricia (Andrew) Nye of Marcellus and sister-in-law Sue Barnes of Pittsford; two nephews Andy Nye of Skaneateles, Chris Barnes of Webster and three nieces, Karen Johnson of Marcellus, Kelli and Tori Barnes of Pittsford; seven great-nieces and nephews.
A mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 am Saturday January 5, 2013 at TS. James Church, 4845 So. Salina St., Syracuse, NY..
