Robert “Eddie” Crysler, 80, of Marcellus passed away Monday August 10, 2020. Born in Marcellus, to the late Charles and Beatrice Crysler, he was a graduate of Marcellus Central Schools in 1957 and a member of the 1956 Championship football team. He was a member of Howlett Hill Fire Department from 1962-1979, where he was Past Chief. He retired from Onondaga County Fire Control as a dispatcher after 20 years of service. After retirement he worked for the Town of Marcellus.
Eddie is survived by his sister Florence Antal, daughters Dawn (John) Bishop and Stacey (Ian) Smith along with several grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews. Besides his parents he is also predeceased by his brother Jack, and children Angelica and Scott.
Graveside services for Eddie will be 1 p.m. Friday August 14 in Highland Cemetery, Marcellus, facial covering must be worn.
Memorial donation in memory of Eddie may be made to the Howlett Hill Fire Department.
