Obituary for Robert M. Rodak

Robert M. Rodak
Robert M. (Bob) Rodak, of Elbridge, passed away peacefully on Saturday, May 5, 2018, surrounded by his family.
Bob was self employed as a trim carpenter; his fine craftsmanship can be seen in many houses throughout the area. As a master carpenter and woodworker, he could often be found in his shop, crafting all manner of beautiful objects to give as gifts.
Bob was devoted to his family. He loved being in the country. The week before his death he got to go fishing once more in the stream behind his home which has been in his family for generations.
He is survived by his wife of 42 years Nancy Honis Rodak and children Matt (Kate Smith) and Ann (Adam Sudmann). He especially adored his grandchildren Carter, Benjamin, Josephine, Irina and Eliot. Also surviving is his brother Tom in Nebraska, cousins Bill and Greg Speck who were like brothers to him, and a large close extended family.
Bob is predeceased by his parents Michael and Irene Hryvko Rodak.
Friends are invited to call on the family on Saturday May 12, from Noon to 1 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home 33 North Street, Marcellus.
In lieu of flowers contributions may be made to Hospice of CNY, 990 7th North St., Liverpool, NY 13088
