Obituary for Shirley Fey (Raymond)
Shirley Fey, age 93 of Marietta, NY passed away November 7, 2020.
Shirley was born in Onondaga, NY to Floyd and Jessie Raymond on June 29, 1927. Shirley was well known for selling Avon, which she did for nearly 50 years. She will be remembered as a loving and accepting mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, great-great grandmother and friend.
Shirley enjoyed time with family, big family gatherings, sharing the family gossip and watching CBS soap operas, Lifetime movies and Family Feud. She cared deeply for everyone in her life. As you ended a conversation with her, or headed out the door, she made sure to tell you she was proud of you, that you were a blessing. She made everyone in her life feel seen, heard and loved and will be greatly missed.
She was predeceased by her husband Frederick. She is survived by her brothers Dick and Neil Raymond; children JoAnne Scott (Bill), Ralph Rozelle (Sue), Marsha Rozelle (Tom Gragg) and Timothy Fey; Step-children Frederick Fey, Rebecca Fey and Daniel Fey (Robin); 20 grandchildren; 28 great grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
Calling hours for Shirley will be from 4-6 p.m. Thursday November 12 at the Plis Funeral Home, 33 North St. Marcellus. Masks are required social distancing will be observed and capacity limits will be enforced. A private service and burial will be held for the family.
Memorial donations in her memory may be made to the American Heart Association.
