Obituary for Tracy M. Kurtz (Gilbert)
Tracy Kurtz, 59, of Syracuse NY, passed away on February 21, 2023 surrounded by loved ones.
Tracy is survived by her parents Jack (John) and Donna Gilbert, her daughter Ashley (Mike) Sheppard, her grandson Jackson Sheppard, her longtime partner Stephen Wilson, her four brothers, John (Mary) Gilbert, Dave (Stephanie) Gilbert, Donald (Chrissy) Gilbert, Terry (Heidi) Gilbert, several nieces and nephews and many friends.
Tracy was an amazing mother, daughter, sister, friend and above all a doting grandmother to her beloved grandson. Tracy had a vigor for life and enjoyed spending time outdoors in her garden, with her french bulldogs and at the family camp.
There will be a celebration of life to honor Tracy on March 12, 2023 starting at 3 pm at Daniella’s Fresh Seafood & Pasta House (581 State Fair Blvd within the fairgrounds).
The family asks that in lieu of gifts, donations can be made to the Rosamond Gifford Zoo Elephant Herd.
