Obituary for William Hulik

William Hulik, 87, formerly of Havens Ave., died Wednesday, August 27, 2014 at the Commons on St. Anthony.
Bill was a life resident of the Auburn area, the son of the late Michael and Anna Fanok Hulik. He was a Navy veteran of WW II. He was the 7up distributor for the Auburn area for 41 years. He served two terms as a member of the Board of Education for the Auburn School District. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, the Veterans of Foreign Wars, and the Ukrainian National Club. He was a communicant of Sacred Heart Church.
He is survived by his daughter Christine Hulik of Cuppertino, CA, his sons William Jr. (Debbie) and Scott (Nicole) Hulik, all of Auburn, grandchildren Christopher, Katie, Mitchell and Kacie, step-grandson Nathan, his sister Helen Zerbny of Waterloo, brother Michael Hulik Jr., and several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his wife Josephine Badran Hulik in 1986, and his brothers John and Joseph Hulik.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be offered Tuesday, September 2, at 9:30 A.M. in Sacred Heart Church. Burial will be in St. Joseph's Cemetery. Friends are invited to call Monday, from 4 to 7 P.M. at the Plis Funeral Home, 220 State St., Auburn.
